Every now and then we like to spotlight a unique, one-of-a-kind bathroom style trend that can’t be found anywhere else. This week we’ve landed in this beautiful bathroom remodel by one of our fellow creatives. Follow along with us as we highlight a few interesting accents that make this bathroom so swoon-worthy:
Thrift shopping can seem off putting, but it’s an age old secret to find stunning, rare treasures that cost next to nothing. Incorporating a bit of vintage with brand-new designs is a common trend today. For this transitional bathroom remodel, we find a lovely 1940’s antique dresser perched on top of tiled flooring. It was already painted light blue and refurbished, making it the perfect accent piece for the room. As you can see, the old top of the dresser was replaced with a unique Quartz countertop design.
“I chose Quartz over marble because it’s more durable and just as beautiful.”
All fixtures for this remodel were supplied by Faucets N’ Fixtures. They were able to customize the style with gorgeous and durable products. The sink is accented with a beautiful single handle Brizo faucet from the Baliza line.
“Designed to capture a fresh perspective on traditional styling, Baliza unites timeless beauty with a petite, modern form that fits the interest of today’s consumer,” said Judd Lord, director of industrial design for Brizo. “Simple yet elegant, the collection possesses a slightly unique architecture from what has historically been available.”
The inspiration for the chandeliers in this bathroom came from an Irish pub in Mission Viejo called Dublin 4. To replicate the elegant, soft lighting found in the pub, this bathroom features Feiss Petite chandeliers which creates a very charming ambiance.
“It’s a fun conversation piece. I don’t think I’ve ever had anyone leave my bathroom without asking how I transformed it.”
Attempting a home DIY design project can be time consuming and tedious, but as long as you have dedication and a clear vision, the final result will wow you – just like this lovely bathroom!
