A tradition that has been passed down from generation to generation, Easter egg dyeing is rich in history and fun for the entire family.
Some traditional techniques include food coloring while more modern twists alter the egg with paint pens, fabric, and melted crayons. After browsing some Pin boards, we were inspired by an undercover popular trend – blue-dyed Easter eggs. Not the typical take on eggs, this unique color can be altered in many ways.
Check out some of our favorites from top to bottom, left to right:
1) Blueberry colored Easter eggs
2) Eggs painted with hibiscus by Daria Zuykova
5) Blue dyed Easter eggs using red cabbage
