Our clients, Mr. and Mrs. Lu, had a great, open layout to work with. There were no bulky walls in the way which made demolition that much easier. After living in their outdated kitchen for many years, the Lu’s wanted to create a kitchen that felt more open and could accommodate friends and family for gatherings.
Instead of keeping the brick accent wall, the Lu’s were ready to bring a more classy, refined look into their kitchen.
What a brilliant transformation! What was once dark and impractical, our client’s new kitchen is stylish, functional and beaming with a bright, new atmosphere. Their new kitchen is composed of our handcrafted Duracore™ cabinets, in a two tone style. The wall cabinets are made with a beautiful maple wood Brighton style door, painted Alabaster. The island is made of cherry wood, stained a rich Nutmeg (one of our most popular stains of 2014.) Additional noteworthy features include the Cambria Newhaven countertops, hanging traditional style lighting, and under cabinet lights with dimmers to set the ambiance.
The Lu’s love entertaining in their new kitchen. They added a custom super susan and glass shelves to showcase their fine china. The patterned tile backsplash in a neutral palette is the finishing touch on this gorgeous new kitchen remodel.
